Wine tasting at the feet of Mount Etna

We will introduce you to an agri-touristic farm situated on the south side of Etna, in Viagrande, immersed in unique landscape and climate. The Mannino family great experience in viticulture started off in 1730, precisely in this territory.
Your experience will start off with a relaxing walk among the vineyards on the typical terracing on the mount Etna. You will discover the history of the cellar; the family-run wine production and the history that links the family to this special space and that binds them in a great territorial tradition. You will then be shown the characteristics of the local Etna vine varieties and of course you will know more about the wine production. During the visit you will also learn about the different growing techniques; the soil treatment; the pruning and the harvesting.

After a full-immersion in the traditions of both the territory and the farm itself, the wine tasting will finally start.

Classic: it includes 3 labels (Etna Rosso 2014; Palmento 810 Carricante 2017; Palmento 810 Nerello Mascalese 2013) accompanied by Pane Condito - bread with EVO oil produced by the company itself; savoury dips; dried tomatoes and jams produced in the farm.
