Looking for a fun and unique activity?
Enjoy a one-of-a-kind journey to discover the secrets of authentic Sicilian cuisine!Accompanied directly by the chef, you will visit the ancient fish market of Ortigia and purchase the fresh ingredients you need for your cooking class. If you're not familiar with Sicilian fish markets, you’ll be amazed by the truly unique atmosphere: colors and smells blend with the shouts of vendors, offering a nostalgic experience. During the market visit, you’ll also have small tastings of local products.
In the kitchen, overlooking the Porto Grande of Syracuse, the chef will guide you in preparing a typical Sicilian menu (starter, main course, side dish, dessert). The chef will be happy to explain the dishes and describe the techniques used in preparing various traditional recipes.
