Take part in a Sicilian cooking class in the historical centre of Palermo. The chef Marialuisa will reveal some of the many culinary secrets which have made Sicilian cuisine famous all around the world. The Sicilian gastronomic journey starts right away: you will meet the chef just a few steps from the Capo market, where you will buy the fresh ingredients which you will use in the cooking class. You will breathe in an authentic, folkloric atmosphere: the cries of the vendors and the smells and colours of super fresh produce, typical of the market.
Passing through alleys, past buildings and ancient monuments, you will reach by foot the Sixteenth Century building where the cooking class will take place. You will be welcomed with a glass of wine, giving you the chance to take in the relaxing family atmosphere.

You will prepare a complete menu: an appetizer, a starter, a main and a dessert. A taste of some of the dishes that will be part of your menu: aubergine caponata, pasta with sardines, stuffed sardines, swordfish involtini, Sicilian cassata.

After the cooking class follows lunch, with some of the dishes you yourselves will have prepared during the class. During lunch you will be offered Sicilian wines carefully matched with the various dishes. And with your dessert you can try a zibibbo (sweet aromatic wine) or a local Limoncello (lemon liqueur).

You can take the cooking class in the morning or afternoon. In the morning you will visit the Capo market, while during the afternoon it will be possible to visit Vucciria. The morning cooking class will be followed by lunch, while the afternoon class, naturally, will be followed by dinner.
