Read moreFor you, sea lovers who want to challenge the sea waves, Sicilying offers a Surfing Course, which will be held at the sandy coast of the island: the so-called "Playa di Catania".
Imagine the scenario: the golden beach of Catania from which you can see the city and the Mt. Etna that looks right in front of you on the bay in front of the city.
The course is divided into 3 days: 1 lesson per day. Each lesson will last about 90 minutes.
The location is provided by the Beach Club "Le Capannine," one of the most trendy bathing facilities and youth of the coast. The entrance to the beach is included in the course.
The first lesson will be at 11:00 am. The times and days of the next two lessons will be arranged directly with the instructor to suit your needs. -
What is included
- This experience is for 1 person.
- 3 surf lessons, 90 minutes each with a federal I.S.A. (International Surfing Association) instructor, with federal FIN (Italian Swimming Federation) license or with an equivalent instructor.
- 3 daily admissions to Lido Le Capannine.
- We will provide all the equipment you need (board, wetsuit, lycra-suit), access to private changing rooms and hot water at your disposal.
- In order to participate, it is necessary to become a member of the sport association organizing the lessons: costs is 25 € to be paid locally. Joining the association you will get an insurance coverage as well as all services provided to AICS card users. Membership and insurance coverage are valid for twelve months.

Booking terms and conditions
- An advance payment of 20% of the total amount is required for the reservation. The balance is due in cash upon arrival.

Terms of use
- The first lesson starts at 11 am. Schedules and dates of the following two lessons will be planned together with the instructor. You are allowed to take more than 2 lessons a day, but this must be arranged according to the instructor’s availability. We guarantee that the course will end within 4 days from the first lesson.
- By adverse weather or sea conditions, surfing lessons might be suspended or canceled following the unappealable decision of the instructor. In that case you will be able to arrange a new date/time for your lesson or to replace the sport activity you chose by another one among: windsurf or other possibilities.

Cancellation policy
- The deposit paid upon booking is not refundable under any circumstances. Withdrawal allowed up to 48 hours before the service begins.
