Read moreThe Serracozzo cave, at an altitude of 1851 m, is one of the largest lava flow caves in the world, formed during the 1971 eruption. The excursion will begin with a brief briefing followed by an easy trek, accompanied by an experienced guide, through a birch forest. After about 1.5 km, you will reach the valley that houses the Serracozzo cave. You can then choose to continue your experience with a hike to the Belvedere viewpoint at 2,100 meters, from where you can admire the Valle del Bove and the Summit Craters.
