Planeta Winecellar: 5 Wines tasting and lunch at the feet of Mt Etna

An experience not to be missed to enjoy a unique and evocative panorama and visit some of the places made famous by the American series "The White Lotus," while sipping some of the most renowned labels of the Etnean territory. We are talking about the Planeta winery, located in the territory of Castiglione di Sicilia at 621 m above sea level.

The characteristic of this place is that the slow degradation of the lava rock and the abundance of ash coming out of the crater, give the soil great fertility making the winery's vineyards unique.

You will begin your experience by visiting the winery, created in a real stone garden inside a lava flow dating back to 1566. This will be followed by a tasting of five wines from Planeta's five territories on the island. A journey to discover the terroirs of Menfi, Vittoria, Noto, Etna and Capo Milazzo. This will be followed by a tasting of the 3 Planeta extra virgin olive oils accompanied by typical products such as "cunzate" olives, crostini, anchovies, cherry tomatoes, "fritturine" and cheese. You will then have lunch which includes a first or second course, coffee, cookies, water and 1 glass of wine.
