Wine Tasting in Planeta Wine Cellar on Mt Etna

Treat yourself to a half-day of pampering your senses at the Cantine Planeta Sciaranuova, exceptionally located right at the feet of Mount Etna, among the lava flows and woods around the town of Passopisciaro.

Planeta produces some of the finest award-winning Sicilian wines.Your experience will include a visit to the wine cellar, the wine tasting and oil and some other local products pairing.
You will first visit the wine cellar , that is located in a very suggestive environment: a black rock garden inside the ancient lava flow od 1566. Then you will be introduced to the wines and will taste 5 fine wines produced by Planeta in different located vineyards, that are: Menfi, Vittoria, Capo Milazzo, Noto and, of course, Etna. You will understand how different are the wines coming from so different grounds of Sicily.

You will also taste 3 different oils produced by Planeta and some other local products bytes, such as: olive, anchovies, local toasted bread, tomatoes and cheeses.
