"U Liotru", the elephant depicted in Piazza Duomo, is a true symbol of Catania, and just one of the many timeless myths and legends that characterize the Etna city. In the evening light, you will embark on a fascinating and mysterious journey covering over 2700 years of history by way of religious traditions and popular beliefs.
Beginning in Piazza Stesicoro, passing through Via dei Cappuccini you will enter the alleys of the historic city center and the eighteenth-century avenues, you will wander in search of the different souls of Catania.
You will reach Piazza Dante and admire the Benedictine Monastery from outside, a jewel of the late Sicilian Baroque. You will also visit the Via Crociferi, famous for its four baroque churches not far from one another. Finally, you will arrive in Piazza Università crossing through via Etnea, the main street of the city and lastly, Piazza Duomo to end the tour.

An intriguing thematic tour that takes its cue from the stories of the people of Catania to tell the story of the city, through its controversial past, the relationship with the Volcano and the traces of the peoples who inhabited the city.
