Peppino Impastato: private tour of the Hundred Steps

Journalist, political activist, cultural animator, environmentalist, hippy and poet: Peppino Impastato was all these things. Despite having been raised in a mafia family, Impastato dared to break with the culture of the clan, represented by his father, and publicly denounced the crimes and abuses committed by Cosa Nostra, even mocking on radio the powerful boss Gaetano Badalamenti.

This tour is an invitation to get to know Peppino Impastato: a fascinating figure and an icon of the restless spirit of youth. You will hear his story from the voices of those who knew him and together you will retrace the "hundred steps" that separated his house from that of his executioner.
At the end of the tour we suggest eating at the Pizzeria Impastato, of the family of Peppino, or at Pizzeria La Stazione, the setting for the film "I Cento Passi".
