The tour begins with a visit to the Benedictine Monastery, followed by an aperitif of horse meat and wine at sunset in the historic setting of Castello Ursino. You will then pass through the fish market, tasting typical Sicilian cheeses and cured meats, before reaching Piazza Duomo, a sublime example of Sicilian Baroque and a UNESCO World Heritage site, where you will taste the famous arancino.
You will continue through the historic center, discovering side streets and the Massimo Bellini Theater, the heart of opera in Catania.
Finally, the sweet part of the tour will guide you through a selection of Sicilian pastries, including the famous cannolo with ricotta, cassatella, and almond paste during the winter months, or the refreshing Sicilian granita during the summer.
