3 days in Catania: Street food and Mount Etna

Live Catania like a "local", amongst traditional flavours and adventures on Mount Etna. You will stay in an apartment in the old town centre of the city, the perfect departure point for discovering ancient Catania, full of historical monuments, churches, alleyways and fascinating sights.

Here is the programme:

Day 1 - Street Food Tour
After the check-in, you will meet at 10:00 in Piazza Duomo in Catania, where you will meet the local guide who will show you around on the Street Food Tour of the city. This walking tour will give you a historical overview of the city whilst at the same time giving you the chance to taste some of the best and most authentic culinary delicacies of Catania. Day 2 - Jeep Tour on Mount Etna and lunch at a winecellar
You will be picked-up from your apartment at 9:00 and that's when your jeep adventure begins! You will begin the ascent of the volcano following some challenging paths which will bring you up beside a crater of thousands of years old - a crater which gave birth to this vast mountainous volcanic landscape. After a short trek along a woodland trail, you will arrive at the Bove Valley, a place of breathtaking views. After this tour you will accompanied to a winecellar on the foothills of Etna where you will have the chance to do some wine-tasting of Doc wines and a lunch of traditional produce of the area.
