Cookery class and a tour of Catania market

Embark on a gastronomic journey of Sicilian tradition. You will meet the chef in Piazza Duomo in the centre of Catania and then you will head to the famous "Pescheria" market.

The chef will involve you in the buying of all the necessary ingredients, and once it's all bought it's time to head to the cookery school to try your hand in a traditional Sicilian cuisine cookery class! The school, in a wonderfully exclusive location, is just 5 minutes on foot from the pescheria market. Following the chef, you will prepare the whole menu, which will include a first course, second course, and sweet. During the lesson you will be offered a welcome aperitif.

You will have the chance to prepare, for example, homemade pasta with fresh salsa, 'beccafico' sardines, and ricotta 'cannoli'. The chef will teach you some of the tricks of the trade in preparing some of the most delicious Sicilian dishes.
If you are vegetarian or have other dietary requirements, the chef will help you prepare a menu completely tailored to your needs.

At the end of the cookery class, and to reward all your hard work.. you will be served lunch, finally the time to enjoy all those wonderful dishes you helped to prepare.
