Birdwatching in Vendicari Nature Reserve and Noto Tour

This is an offer not to be missed for every "Birdwatching" lovers. The Vendicari Nature Reserve is a wet zone and one of the most important passing places for migratory birdlife in the Mediterranean area. The hike sets off from the entrance in a southerly and northerly direction of the reserve, across marked trails which follow the sandy and rocky coast, allowing us to visit the lagoons and some ex-salt wetlands and to recognize the native flora of salty and dune habitats.
Furthermore, it will be possible to watch the migratory and stationary fauna through binoculars in special huts, such as wild ducks, herons, pink flamingoes and many other birds. Besides, it'll be interesting to visit ancient buildings and archeological remains like the old Tuna factories, disused since 1943 because of the war.
