What could be more spectacular than experiencing it at sunset?Starting from your accommodation, you will explore the southern side of the mountain. Climbing through the villages at the foot of Etna, you will stop at a local farm for a tasting of honey and typical products.
Accompanied by an experienced guide, you will then visit a lava tube, equipped with helmets and torches. Upon reaching Rifugio Sapienza, at an altitude of 1910 meters, you will enjoy a pleasant 30-minute walk to discover the lava flows from the most recent eruptions and the Silvestri craters, active in 1892.
At the end of the excursion, you will witness the breathtaking sunset!
