Read moreWould you like to discover Mount Etna and wander in the incredible Alcantara Valley all in one day?
Our day tour will allow you to do so. You will be picked up at your residence and on board of a very comfortable minivan you will cross the typical villages on the slopes of mount Etna in order to arrive to the Rifugio Sapienza at 1910 m. It is only an easy trek strating there but you will be able to admire the most incredible lavic landscapes. Your visit will then lead you to a lava flow cave that you will explore with flashlight and helmet.
Following, passing through the villages of Zafferana and Viagrande, you will be able to cherish a tasting of honey and other typical products of the Etna area in a nearby farm.
After such an adventurous morning, you will continue on to the Alcantara Valley where you will go on a pleasant walk discovering the Gurne which are natural pools created by the water flow and also the spectacular lavic canyon created by the flowing of the Alcantara River.

- In case of bad weather conditions, if the organizer considers unsafe to operate the experience, you will agree a new date with your guide. If it will not be possible to arrange a new date, you will be refunded.
