1 Week Tour: Sicily Sport Adventure

If you wish to enjoy an entire week exploring the Eastern Sicily immersing yourself among sea, sports, hiking and off road quad biking, this is the tour you were looking for.  You will admire the charming Taormina, the amazing Etna volcano and Giardini Naxos bay.

DAY 1: Arrival at Catania’s Airport and transfer to the accommodation facilities in Taormina.
Day 2: Etna Tour and wine tasting.
Guided tour on the Etna’s Northern side to see some typical lava tunnel and enjoy a wine tasting. By minibus you will reach the "Mareneve" road that leads to the Piano Provenzana Etna Nord. Visit to the birch woods, the “Cave della Neve”, a typical example of a lava tunnel, and final stop to see the Monti Sartorious and the 1865’s eruption remains. At the end of the tour, you will enjoy a light lunch with local products at a winery followed by a tasting of Etna’s wines.
DAY 3: Quad tour in the Alcantara and Peloritani Valley.
Tour schedule: walk on a gravel road to reach first the River Alcantara’s Park and then the Peloritani Valley. The tour takes about 3 hours. On top of Montagna Grande you will be able to enjoy a unique view over the Aeolian Islands and the Calabria’s coastline. Each quad can carry two people. Lunch is served at a local restaurant. Free afternoon with visit to Taormina.
Day 4: Body Rafting along the river Alcantara to admire the volcanic cliffs.
Everyone will be provided with the required equipment to float along the river and get to the valley. The tour consists of 2.5 km of hiking up the river and its side trails, swimming and get carried away by the current. Lunch is served at a local restaurant. Free afternoon in the Park.
Day 5: Taormina: rafting and sailing tour.
Visit to Taormina and Isola Bella’s coves on board a dinghy boat (itinerary subject to change in case of bad weather conditions), with light lunch and breath-taking view of Taormina’s seaside.
Lunch is served at a local restaurant in Taormina. Free afternoon with visit to Taormina, its prestigious shops and the Greek theatre.
Day 6: Diving and Snorkelling.
Transfer to the dock of Giardini Naxos where you can choose your activity between snorkelling and scuba diving. You will enjoy the crystal clear waters, the multi-coloured fishes and the spectacular underwater rocks. Lunch is served at a local restaurant.
Day 7: Departure. Transfer from the Hotel to the Catania airport.

Relax Package: our tour includes overnight stay in 4* Hotels in Taormina and everyday lunch in a typical sicilian restaurant. All daily transfers from/to the hotel and pick-up from/to the airport are also included.
